Open Ended Poker Run
A traditional Poker Run requires riders to travel from one location to the next and draw a card at each place. The staff records the cards drawn. Five cards make a Poker Hand. The best hand wins.
An Open Ended Poker Run is a little different. There will be Five locations that have Draw Tables at each one. The Draw Tables will be open before the Pack arrives at each location and will remain open after the pack leaves. The Draw Tables will close when the staff has to leave and get to the final location where the winners will be announced. Click here for more

- Only one card may be drawn at a time.
- If more than one card is turned over ONLY the card in the player’s hand is live.
- If more than one card is in the player’s hand both cards are dead, and the deck will be shuffled/washed, and the player will draw again.
- If more than one card is turned over and it cannot be determined by the staff member which card was in the player’s hand, then all cards are dead and the deck will be shuffled/washed, and the player will draw again.
If a player repeatedly turns over more than one card it may be considered intentional cheating, and ALL the players entries will be void regardless of when they are purchased.
There will be 52 cards in the deck each time a player draws. Unless the player request otherwise.
If the player wishes to draw multiple cards without a shuffle/wash they simply tell the staff member. In this case each card they draw will be left out of the deck and the deck will not be shuffled or washed.
Player Boards are considered complete when the last card is drawn and the staff records the hand. Player Boards will be collected by the staff person who signs the board when it is completed. Players are encouraged to take a picture of the board when complete and the staff has initialed the last card.
All ties will be determined by drawing a single High Card – In the event that a player is not present a Staff member will represent that player and draw for them.
Any intentional attempt to bend, discolor, deface or otherwise mark a card will be considered cheating.
Any player caught intentionally attempting to cheat will not be eligible for any prize at any location and all the Player Boards in their name will be void. The player’s intent will be determined by the event manager and that decision is final. Any Player found to be cheating will be strongly encouraged to leave the event.
